My First Screen Print

My First Screen PrintTo further my design and illustration skills, I attended a beginners workshop at Print Club, Dalston. I learnt how to screenprint my own 1 layer/1 colour design and went through the whole process from digital image to pulling the squeegee. I artworked my illustration in Photoshop and prepared my design ready to put on my screen. I coated the screen with photo emulsion, exposed the design using Big Bertha exposure unit, chose an ultramarine blue ink for my run of ten prints using squeegees. This run of ten A4 portrait prints will be on sale soon.
